Henry J. Srednicki, Ph.D.


Holds a Ph.D. from Fordham University. Dr. Srednicki is a New York and New Jersey licensed psychologist. He trained at the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in New York City and is a graduate of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute, the country’s foremost OCD training program sponsored by the International OCD Foundation. He has been a practicing psychotherapist since 1990.

Dr. Srednicki is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and sex therapist who has trained under Dr. Patrick Carnes. Dr. Srednicki specializes in obsessive compulsive disorders and those recovering from sexual addiction and the trauma of betrayal. Patients in recovery and trauma victims are treated with the evidence-based task model of Patrick Carnes, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Neurofeedback in order to self-regulate their brain.

Dr. Srednicki is Board Certified in Neurofeedback and also an expert in Clinical Hypnosis, Biofeedback, and the use of brain wave training to help prevent relapse in addicts and assist partners in overcoming Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. He is a founder of Upper Montclair Psychological Associates LLC, The Center for Neurofeedback, and Co-Founder of Full Heart Recovery Center, LLC.

Dr. Srednicki has also published over thirty articles on various topics in psychology.

Mario Dartayet-Rodriguez, MSW, LCSW, CSAT


Holds an M.S.W from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. He is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker and New Jersey Licensed Social Worker. Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez is a Certified Sex Addictions Therapist (CSAT) and New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor –Trainee (CASAC-T). He is a graduate of the Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions Program at the William Alanson White Institute, one of the nation’s foremost psychoanalytic institutes. Additionally, Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez has extensive training in family and couples therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Furthermore, Mr. Dartayet- Rodriguez has trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy with Dr. Sue Johnson.

Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez has additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy that he incorporates into the treatment of addictions and trauma disorders. As a CSAT, Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes and is considered an expert in the treatment of sex addiction. In addition to his background treating multiple addictions, Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez has experience in treating patients with Borderline Personality Disorder, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders.

Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez utilizes evidence-based interventions to help clients stabilize in order to do deeper psychodynamic work so that clients may gain insight into the origins of their conditions. He has presented at various universities and helped to train the front line staff at some of the metropolitan area’s largest group homes on how to deal with clinical issues such as managing “transference and counter transference.”

Mr. Dartayet-Rodriguez is a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW), International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (II TAP), the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), and the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (NYCEFT).
